Age, capacity, and licence
Covered products are intended for users aged 17 and older. A higher age, additional authorization, or supervision required by local law applies. You must be legally able to accept these Terms.
ByteSpeed grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable licence to use a product for its intended lawful purpose on a device you own or control. Products are licensed, not sold.
Files, entries, and backups
You remain responsible for files, photos, entered numbers, authentication entries, and other material you select or create, including having authority to use it. Review every destination and result before confirming an action.
Maintain appropriate backups and recovery information. ByteSpeed cannot restore local material it never received, including a deleted authentication secret or overwritten file.
Apply the right rule to the function
- Editing and conversion: inspect source files, formatting, output, and storage location before saving or sharing.
- Photo cleanup: review suggested duplicate or similar items before deleting them; automated comparison may not reflect an item’s importance.
- Number query: enter numbers lawfully and do not use results to harass, mislead, profile, or infringe another person. The function is not reverse lookup or a public directory.
- Authentication: protect the device, verification secrets, and recovery material. ByteSpeed does not control a third-party account and cannot guarantee account recovery.
- Device connection: use discovery or connection functions only with equipment and environments you own or are authorized to inspect.
Prohibited use
Do not violate law or third-party rights; introduce malware; bypass security or purchase controls; scrape or resell protected service data; interfere with availability; attempt unauthorized access; or reverse engineer software except where applicable law expressly permits.
Product rights and your content
ByteSpeed and its licensors retain all rights in product software, interfaces, designs, brands, text, graphics, and documentation. You retain the rights you lawfully hold in material you choose to process. Voluntary feedback may be used to improve products without payment, but this does not transfer ownership of your private files.
Trials and auto-renewal
If a purchase page offers a free trial or auto-renewing subscription, it will display the duration, price, billing period, and conditions before confirmation. Manage or cancel through the corresponding app-store account settings. Uninstalling a product does not cancel billing.
Refunds and billing disputes follow the store’s rules and applicable consumer law. ByteSpeed does not receive complete payment-card information processed by the store.
Third-party services
Covered products may interact with app stores, operating-system functions, compatible equipment, payment systems, advertisements in some products, and destinations you select. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Compatibility does not imply ByteSpeed controls or endorses them.
Updates, suspension, and termination
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue a feature for product, security, compatibility, legal, marketplace, or operational reasons. We may restrict access for a material breach or serious risk. You may stop using a product at any time; uninstalling does not cancel an active subscription.
Availability and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect accuracy, recovery of local content, or compatibility with every device, file, service, or item of equipment. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ByteSpeed is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Privacy, disputes, and revisions
Our Privacy Field Guide explains information handling. Consent or system permission required by law or platform rules is requested separately.
If a dispute arises, contact us first with a reasonable description so both sides can attempt an informal resolution. Any unresolved matter may be handled by a competent authority under applicable law, without removing mandatory consumer protections.
We may update these Terms for product, provider, marketplace, operational, or legal changes. The effective date identifies the current version, and additional notice or consent will be provided where required.
